Really impressed with this central hotel. The hotel's director had to take Lyndon on one side and explain that, at the Shankly, the employees expect to be treated like guests.

I took my 5 year old son to the roof top Grotto to see Santa and it was the best Santa experience we have ever had!

Bar prices at the Shankly are very reasonable for a hotel of this standard. Check in staff were helpful and courteous.When we returned later our luggage had already been taken to our room which we thought was a nice touch.Our room was fabulous, in fact it was apartment sized with a small kitchen, state of the art huge whirlpool bath, dining area with table and chairs, huge television and Bluetooth speaker system for us to get festive with our Christmas tunes and a really big, bright and airy bedroom with great views, opulent linens and curtains and the most comfy bed we've stayed in (and we are frequent and not ashamed to say it-fussy travellers). Exceeding expectations is our aim, going above and beyond in our roles is something we all aspire to achieve.
We do offer some amazing packages like the Love Sweet Love package which are available on our website. After all this we sat down in the restaurant for some lunch, choosing between the two menus of normal or afternoon tea we decided on the regular menu.
